I don’t know about you, but it has been a looooong week for me, despite Monday being a holiday. Somehow we lucked out and found a bunch of great Twitter resources for our scheduled post, because I was just thinking about how I didn’t really have time to do a ton of research! Twitter may seem like a no brainer at this point, but for a lot of bloggers + business owners, it’s an underutilized platform that could be building community & bringing traffic your way. These 4 pros are definitely using it to their advantage:
1. Have you done a Twitter chat before? Kayla Hollatz recently listed several great Twitter chats that we can all join to connect with other bloggers.
2. Over on Coffee with Summer we found this post on growing your Twitter that’s a super helpful basic overview while at the same time being detailed enough to actually explain how each aspect works. I love that she talked about when/why to use hashtags + images.
3. This post from Bouvardian isn’t super recent, but Jana’s tips on creating community via Twitter are spot on. Just another reminder that we need to be engaging on Twitter, not just spouting off 140 character statements! :)
4. Whether or not you have a separate Twitter account for your business, these Twitter for business tips from Jamie Delaine will help you tweet more intentionally when it comes to biz content. I found her breakdown of the different types of content she tweets really interesting.
What’s on the schedule for you this weekend? I’m determined to relax!
